ASLTL provides immediate, worldwide, diamond open access to all of its published content, with no charges to either authors or readers. This policy follows the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), which defines open access as free availability on the public internet, permitting any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, and to use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself.

No Subscription, No Embargo

There are no subscription fees, no pay-per-view charges, and no embargo period. Every article is freely available on the journal's website from the moment it is published, under a CC BY 4.0 licence (see Copyright and Licensing).

Funding Model

ASLTL does not charge Article Processing Charges (APCs), submission fees, or any other publication fees. Authors are never asked to pay at any stage of the submission, review, or publication process. The journal's operating costs are covered by Translitera Press.

Reader Rights

Readers may access, read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full text of every article without registration, subscription, or payment, and may reuse the material under the terms of the CC BY 4.0 licence, provided appropriate attribution is given.

Alignment with Funder and Institutional Mandates

Because articles are published immediately as diamond open access under CC BY 4.0, with no embargo and no author fees, ASLTL's publishing model is compatible with the open-access mandates of most major research funders and institutions.
